ABOUT MONSERRAT

Monserrat Menendez is an interior designer with more than 13 years of experience on luxury residential and hospitality projects in New York, the Hamptons, Texas, Europe, and Mexico City.

Along the way, one question kept pulling her forward: what is really behind the spaces we live in, and who do they serve? That curiosity now shapes everything she does.

Today she focuses on education and advocacy as a sustainability consultant, brand ambassador, and executive contributor writing on design and sustainability. She is also the host of From Sense to Form, a podcast that turns her writing into conversations with experts across design, sustainability, and beyond.

A former Co-Chair of the ASID New York Metro Health, Wellness, and Sustainability Committee and Long Island Liaison, she has taken part in roundtables and conversations across the design community. She also mentors high school students in the National Student Leadership Conference Interior Design program hosted at Columbia University.
