Monserrat's passion centers on helping and guiding people toward better lifestyles by creating spaces that align with their needs and values. With a foundation in interior architecture from Centro de Estudios Gestalt in Mexico, she refined her expertise through an honor certification in interior design from the Paris American Academy and an MP-S in Sustainable Environments for Interior Design from the New York School for Interior Design. Additionally, she holds a certification from the Healthy Materials Lab at Parsons, further emphasizing her dedication to sustainable, healthy design practices.
 
In her professional services, Monserrat goes beyond interior design to provide consulting for businesses seeking to achieve sustainability goals and become change makers. She is committed to staying at the forefront of sustainability in her work and is currently attending the prestigious Women in Leadership cohort at Harvard University.
 
As a Senior Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, Monserrat writes articles addressing the importance of sustainability and providing practical guides for users. Her love for travel and active participation within the NYC interior design community deeply influence her approach. As Co-Chair of the Health, Wellness, and Sustainability Committee of the American Society of Interior Designers and the Long Island Liaison for ASID NY Metro, Monserrat advocates for sustainable, healthy environments. Exposure to diverse cultures and perspectives fuels her creativity and inspires her to develop innovative solutions to meet today’s design challenges.
